Zero Points

Well, there was a points event scheduled for sunday the 20th, but it ended up being cancelled. Fortunately, I found out just before making the 40 minute drive to the locale. Evidently the area owners had recently resealed the lot. We don’t like driving on newly sealed lots much anyway but apparently the last time we drove on it, it was too soon after the resealing and our guys on slicks destroyed the sealing to the point that the lot owners wouldn’t let us drive on it so soon again afterwards. Pretty funny story, but they didn’t give us much notice so we were unable to relocate. I was looking forward to driving the 240, too. Though it’s having some engine/electrical trouble I need to sort out. I think we’re rescheduling our last event, usually a nonpoints fun event to be the final points event of the season. I’ll have to doublecheck my schedule to make sure I’m clear for it since it became a points run. Oh well, such is the unpredictable nature of things. Time to get some design work done. This final semester has been curiously time consuming considering the number of classes I’m taking.
